Frame ConstructionHooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
Finish ConstructionHooker Furniture utilizes a multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and color richness and durability to our finishes. Through hand-craftsmanship such as rubbing and padding, our finishes feel as good as they look, with a smoothness that is delightful to the touch.
Drawer ConstructionHooker Furniture offers full height, full depth and full width drawers for maximum storage capacity. All drawers have strong, time-tested English or French dovetail construction, for years of problem-free use. Plywood drawer bottoms are attached to plywood drawer sides for strength and durability. Full extension wood-on-wood or metal glide drawer systems operate smoothly. Our top-of-the-line bedroom collections include bottom drawers on major case pieces that are cedar-lined for the aromatic benefit and preservation of clothing.

Shipping Information

   

We offer two methods for product acquisition: Matter Brothers Furniture In-Home Delivery Service or Customer Pick-up.

 

Matter Brothers Furniture In-Home Delivery Service

 

This item will be delivered by Matter Brothers Furniture’s professional delivery service. Unlike common freight carriers, Matter Brothers Furniture Delivery Service consists of a trained two-person team that will deliver and set up your order from the truck into your home.

 

Let us do the heavy lifting. We will delivery your new furniture, set it up, and make sure that it meets all your expectations. We also remove all packaging and trash. The Matter Brothers Furniture delivery teams are experts in delivery and setup. Once your furniture arrives in our warehouse it is subject to a detailed inspection process. We unpack every carton before delivery to our customers. Once out of the box, all furniture undergoes a detailed inspection to ensure your new furniture is in acceptable condition. All pieces are blanket wrapped and secured safely before transport to your home.

 

The day before your scheduled delivery a Matter Brothers Furniture customer service representative will call to confirm your address. The day of your delivery you will be contacted by our delivery team with an estimated two to four hour delivery window. Prior to the day of your scheduled delivery a time frame cannot be given, our delivery team route their trucks geographically the morning of delivery.

 

Customer Pick Up:
 

Customers may opt to pick up their furniture order. Any delivery charges processed will be refunded to the customer once their furniture order is picked up. The furniture must be picked up at our Metro Warehouse in Ft Myers, FL, and by appointment only. These arrangements can be made by calling our customer service department at 239.250.3171 between the hours of 10:00am – 4:00pm, Monday thru Friday.   

 

After making arrangements with our customer service department for pick-up, please review the following:

 

  • Pick up hours are Monday thru Friday (except all major holidays) from 8:00am – 2:30pm.
  •  
  • You must bring a copy of your sale and valid ID.
  •  
  • Bring your own blankets, plastic, and/or tie down materials.
  •  
  • Furniture will not be wrapped for pick up until after you have inspected it.
  •  
  • Our staff will load the furniture, but please remember it is your responsibility to secure it in your vehicle.
  •  
  • Consider weather conditions, it is Florida after all.
  •  
  • Measure your vehicle door, trunk, or bed prior to pick up.

 

Returns and Damages

We at Matter Brothers Furniture thank you for your recent purchase, which we are sure will give you years of enjoyment and pleasure. If you wish to return your order, you must contact our customer service department at 239.250.3171 between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm, within 10 days of receipt for an exchange or a refund.


Any returns are subject to approval by management. Upon approval they are subject to a minimum 20% restocking charge to cover the cost of handling and delivery. SPECIAL ORDER items are not eligible for a refund. All items returned must be in new condition. Delivery charges are not refundable. 

 

If you refuse an order, it will then fall under our standard return policy where round trip delivery charges and applicable restocking fees will be deducted from your refund.

 

Inspect Your Order for Damage or Missing Parts:

It is important for you to inspect your new furniture carefully.

 

Any damage made to the product itself, must be noted on the delivery paperwork before the driver leaves. Please write “PRODUCT DAMAGED” on the paperwork they ask you to sign. This ensures that if there is any

damage, we can assist in correcting the matter. If damage is noted, you may refuse the item or decide to keep it. If you choose to keep it, our service department will contact you within 48 hours to set up a service call. Please note that keeping a defective item does not warrant a discount. 

 

If you have already accepted the order and find that parts are missing or are damaged, please contact our service department at (239) 425-9696 within 48 hours.

 

How to Cancel An Order

Orders cancelled after 24 hours may be charged to your account if product shipment cannot be stopped. To cancel an order, you must contact customer service by calling 239.250.3171 from 10:00am to 4:00pm Eastern Time. We will not accept a cancellation request via e-mail or fax. We will attempt to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee cancellations made after 4:00pm Eastern Time on the day that you placed the order.

 

How to Change An Order

If you need to change something about your order, such as a color, finish type, product or quantity, simply call customer service at 239.250.3171 from 10:00am to 4:00pm Eastern Time or email us at  [email protected]. A customer service representative will ask for your order number. If you do not have that handy, your name and phone number will be required. It is our policy to send an e-mail confirming the change on the original order.

  

Since your items could possibly ship from the manufacturer the same day you place your order, we cannot guarantee your change will be made. Our customer service team will notify you if your change cannot be granted.
